This seminar by Masirib Hart included an easy to learn system of empty-hand defense against a knife attack. This system (RKDS) has been taught for many years to Police and Law Enforcement instructors all over the United States. It is based on natural reactions and reflexes and proven to be functional on the streets. (Especially suited for Police and Law Enforcement Officers).

Masirib Guro Emanuel Hart is a member of the Inayan Brotherhood of Eskrima and leader of Inayan Systems International.  He is a disciple of Mangisusuro Mike Inay and continues to honor his name by spreading the art of Inayan Eskrima, and maintainung quality with his teachings.  This 2-day seminar occurred over the weekend of September 10th and 11th with an open session to non-IFE members for a 4 hour Reactive Knife session.

Masirib Hart conducted one test for IFE Baguhan Instructor Gary Benson, who was testing for the IFE Katulong Instructor rank.  Congratulations to Mr. Benson as he is now an IFE Katulong Instructor.

Student Review of Seminar

"I attended the seminar led by Masirib Hart at the Warriors Cove School in Burnsville on September 10th and 11.  I have been a student of Inayan Eskrima for approximately two and a half years. I wasn't certain what to expect, I have been to other two day seminars in other styles in the past and have not always thought that they were worthwhile, it is difficult to disseminate much useful information in two days. However, I was extremely pleased with this seminar, it far exceeded my expectations.  Masarib Hart was great, it was a unique experience to have the opportunity to hear his perspective on the art, observe him, and learn from him.  It truly gave me perspective on the art, it reiterated the fact that I have only scratched the surface of what this art has to offer.

It was also enjoyable meeting all of the students and instructors from other Inayan schools, Katalungun Instructor Keith Schuch gave me some helpful feedback in particular. Many thanks to my teacher, Katalong Instructor Chris McWethy, who did an outstanding job of putting this seminar together.  It was very well organized, and ran smoothly.  As always, his instruction and encouragement were invaluable." - Rand Adams
