Instructor Training

We provide instructor training for those that are interested in becoming an instructor in the future. The first step is to enroll in one or more programs that you are interested in. Generally, every style and system has a progressive method for earning higher levels of certification that eventually leads to an instructor level certification. Once you are a qualified instructor, you may teach classes in existing or future Warrior's Coves. Quality martial arts instruction under a proven business model can be an enjoyable and profitable way of earning your livelihood. Most instructors will tell you that this type of "work" is not work at all, and they would be teaching even if they did not make a profit. It allows you to spend more time doing what you want to do, and you are assisting others in a method of training that you personally feel is beneficial and important. Further information is available by contacting David Arnebeck or one of the Head Instructors.

Current Instructors

The Warrior's Cove also provides a system for current martial art instructors that want to provide a class in the area of their expertise. Our business model allows you to run your class (business) as an in independent contractor within the guidelines of safety, professionalism, and integrity required by the Warrior's Cove. Due to the cooperative nature of our business system, instructors can begin earning a profit much sooner than if they incurred the massive expenses of opening, running, insuring, maintaining and advertising their own school. In addition, our business system allows you to go into business virtually risk free, without having to sign lease and advertising agreements lasting up to 5 years with potential losses exceeding $100,000! Furthermore, instructors are experts at instructing, not accounting, law, real estate leasing, building maintenance, equipment purchasing, advertising, expansion planning, or dozens of other task's performed for you by the Warrior's Cove. We allow you to focus on what you love to do.

Our cross-training philosophy opens the door for all qualified instructors that have a unique and effective curriculum providing self-defense or self-development training. It is not a prerequisite for the principles of your particular system be in agreement with every other system at the Warrior's Cove. Every martial art system has unique strengths and weaknesses, with varying degrees of focus on the many benefits of training. The students at the Cove are free to decide which system best meets their needs.

Instructors within the Warrior's Cove can benefit from Mr. Arnebeck's 25 plus years of experience in optimizing training and teaching methods. There are literally hundreds of ways to better market and disseminate the benefits of martial art training to new and existing students. In addition, collectively there is a vast amount of knowledge and experience available for you, with over 20 instructors and assistant instructors from various backgrounds teaching at the Warrior's Cove!

If an instructor demonstrates outstanding leadership abilities, dependability and integrity during their instruction at the Warrior's Cove, they will earn the opportunity to open their own Warrior's Cove dojo.

Instructors should contact David Arnebeck for further information. (See below for contact info).

Testimonials

"I have been working as an independent contractor for the Warrior’s Cove for almost 2 yrs. I started out just substituting at the St. Louis Park school. The arrangement worked out so well I eventually quit my day job to help out when the Burnsville school opened up. This has been a great opportunity for me to make money doing what I love without the hassles of running my own business. I just show up and teach and Mr. Arnebeck takes care of the rest. Another benefit for me is that I get the chance to teach a much larger student base then if I tried to go it alone. Overall I feel that it’s been a fantastic learning experience as well as financial opportunity to work within a great martial arts organization like the Warrior’s Cove."

"I have been teaching at Warrior's Cove schools full time for a year at this writing. This system is great. I get to work with a huge group of established students. My income allows me to put my whole energy into teaching and training because I need no other job. This gives me more time with my family and my own training has jumped to the next level. Mr. Arnebeck's system also removes the stress of running a school; I only teach a few hours a day and do not have to deal with any of the business element. I would gladly do this work for free, and having it support a living is very satisfying."
